The actual tornado just missed my place this morning and missouri state. 60000 people were without power 10 miles south of here. I am fascinated by storms and my new flip camera! Sorry for my cursing, i was pissed that i got woken up at 8am by a siren, on the study day (dead day) right before finals start tommorow. This is a very boring video.. hopefully the next time i record a tornado, it will be storm chasing on the discovery channel :) WARNING: NEVER DO WHAT I DID AND SHOOT VIDEO RIGHT BY A WINDOW DURING STORMS LIKE THESE. We learned later that wind gusts of this storm reached up to 90 mph at times and i was lucky that the window didn't break right in front of my face. Look out for another tornado video this wednesday (may 13) as the meteorologists are already predicting strong-severe storms that day here in springfield...
